Equipment
Our charitable pools are supplied with a disposable liner, one hose, two tap connectors, a waterproof floor sheet, anti-slip floor mat, electric submersible emptying pump and electric inflate/deflate pump.
We take great care in looking after our pools and accessories and are confident that they leave our premises in good condition and perfect working order.
You must follow the assembly, filling and operating instructions, available to download and print from this website, very carefully.
It is your responsibility to ensure the safety of all those involved in the use of the pool and to make sure the building in which it is placed is suitable e.g. is weatherproof and can take the weight of the pool.
Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, we do not accept any liability for any consequential loss or damage, costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever which may arise out of or in connection with the use of one of our pools.
Instructions are available on the Instruction page of this website. If you are unable to print them yourself we can print them for you at a cost of 50p.
Two tap connectors are supplied with the pool. If one does not fit your taps the other should but that cannot be guaranteed. Please check these as soon as you receive your pool so that you have plenty of time to purchase a more suitable one from a garden centre or hardware shop if necessary.
Always fit a liner before filling the pool with water. This must be returned with the charitable pool once you have finished with it.
On receipt of your pool please check that no items have been damaged or lost in transit. Due to misuse we longer offer an out of hours number therefore any fault or failure of the pool must be reported to us within 24 hours of receipt and no attempt made to repair it without our authorisation.
Any use of the pool for any other activity other that the event specified on your booking form will invalidate the guarantee.
Please ensure that the hoses and submersible pump are fully drained before returning them to us.
Throughout these conditions, the term pool means the Birthing Pool and all accessories.
Care of Equipment
You are expected to take reasonable care of the pool and accessories, whilst in your possession. You must pack everything back into the box provided before it is returned to provide adequate protection for the pool and equipment during transport.
Please be aware that the pool and accessories have a capital value. If for any reason you cannot return any of the items at the end of the hire period or they are returned damaged, we reserve the right to charge you for the cost of a replacement. It is therefore advisable for you to have insurance cover for the pool (such as Home Contents Insurance).
The pool must remain at the address supplied on the booking form and in your possession unless otherwise agreed with us.
You are responsible for the pool for the duration of the hire period. Our pools are not suitable for use with a water heater as it will melt through the plastic. Under no circumstances should the pool or accessories be stored outside.
Pets should be kept away from our pool.
